After Facial Aesthetic Surgeries Performed Under General Anesthesia:
Patients are advised to refrain from consuming food and beverages for three hours following the surgery until they experience a sense of normalcy.
Approximately three to three and a half hours after the surgery, healthcare personnel will assist patients in ambulating and moving around with water and food.
During the follow-up appointment scheduled for the day following the surgery, I m giving a comprehensive explanation of the surgery.
Post-Surgical Edema:
Swelling in and around the surgical area is anticipated to occur for the initial three days. Subsequently, the swelling will dissipate rapidly.
Showering:
Patients are permitted to take a brief shower on the second day, provided that there are no adverse effects.
Additional Recommendations:
- Elastic bandages may be prescribed for facial lift and otoplasty surgeries.
- In nasal surgeries where intranasal silicone splints are not commonly employed, only tape and plaster will be removed during the rhinoplasty follow-up.
- Appropriate massage techniques are recommended for rhinoplasty and certain other facial surgeries.
